Had the surgery done on my neck last week and George, my tumor, is gone. Right now he's stiing in a lab somewhere waiting for another biopsy.

He was benign which is good, but my surgeon told me that it was the weirdest thing that he had ever seen. And that he had never seen anythin like it before...he said it looked like a water balloon. Weird huh? ANd it was bigger then the originally though and had gone around to the back of my neck. And one of the main veins that pumps blood to your head was just hanging out there.

There is some numbness still on the left side of my face especially in the ear but I didn't loose the use of my left arm like I thought I would. At first they didn't think I would be able to lift it over my head but I can woots. The surgeon told me today when he took the stitches out that the numbness would slowly ebb away until it was just one small area.

My throat is no longer chronically sore which is wonderful. ANd my voince didn't drop or raise like it could have.

Had a good Thanksgiving and hope that everyone else who celebrated did to.
